Hey, Mr Banhup! My name is Max. Two years ago I bought your ebook on Portraiture Post-processing and now I am writing this message just to say ‘thank you’. It was a very good starting step for me. Since that time I, of course, improved on my post-processing skills and added different tricks to the workflow. However I still use the same basic steps I’ve learned from you. Here you can see my results of your PP steps, mixing with some other tricks. So, again, thank you very much for your ebook —…Max Drupa

Photosafaris to Bali, Siem Reap and Bagan (Myanmar)

I’m pleased to announce the photosafaris for the rest of the year. There will be two big changes over the usual photosafaris I used to organize. Firstly, I’ll have 2 days of intensive post-processing sessions at a convenient date prior to the respective photosafaris. Those who have signed up for the photosafaris but are unable to make it to the post-processing sessions will have a chance to learn from me during the photosafari itself. This will save time and space (and energy!) during the photosafari. And due to demand for my post-processing workshops, especially those who can’t make it to any of the photosafaris, you can now attend and pay for just the post-processing sessions.

Here then are the details:

The cities (and cost) for the photosafaris will be:

Bali – postponed.

Siem Reap – 12th-16th October (5d/4n)(RM1960 or USD660) – confirmed.

Bagan, Myanmar – 16th-21st November (6d/5n)(RM3330 or USD1150)FULLY BOOKED!
(I will limit the number of pax to a maximum of 12)

Previous workshop participants receive a 20% discount off the total.

Intensive post-processing sessions (over 2 days):
Day 1 – Basic (*see description of syllabus below) – RM300
Day 2 – Advance (Only for those who have attended Day 1. *see description of syllabus below) – RM250
Those who sign up for both days on registration will get a discount of RM100.
I will announce the post-processing dates for the Siem Reap and Bagan photosafaris at a later date.

Day 1 – The Basics
How to make the image pop
How to ‘play with light’ during post-processing
How to improve compositions
Subject isolation
Correcting errors
Recap and review/ image critique

Day 2 – Going further
Preparing for advanced post-processing
Selective post-processing
More techniques on ‘playing with light’ during post-processing
How to change the mood
Artistic post-processing
Recap and review/ image critique

Please note that when you pay for the photosafaris, you’ll get:

Hotel with daily breakfast on twin-sharing basis. Single room supplement – Siem Reap(USD120) and Myanmar (USD330).
Internal transport and airport transfers.
Entrance fees to the various places.
‘Models’ and English-speaking guide/driver.
Daily post-processing sessions where applicable.

It excludes your international flights, meals not mentioned, personal expenses, travel insurance and tips to guide/driver.

Like all of my previous sessions, places will be limited, so please send me an email if you’d like to make a booking; I’ll need a 50% deposit now to secure your place, with the balance due three weeks before the workshop start date. Participant cancellations are fully refundable up to 1 month before the workshop date; refunds thereafter are only if I have to cancel due to unforseen circumstances. All sessions are subject to a minimum of five participants to go ahead; if this is not met, full refunds will be made. Previous workshop participants receive a 20% discount off the total.
