Diffuse the light

This is one of the many tricks I would use in available light photography especially when lighting is getting too harsh. This shot was taken in late morning and shows how expertly Kharu used the shawl to help diffuse the light.

Taken with Nikon D2x + Nikon 70-200mm VR1 @ f/3.2 1/400s ISO400.

Roses anyone?

I just looked through my old files on Kharunisia Jazmin again and was surprised to see many decent shots of her that I have missed after the first 'culling'. I have decided to process them whenever I can and share them with you as our March 25th-27th Manuel Librodo workshop approaches (Kharu being our model). […]

Happy Valentine’s Day

It doesn't matter if you will be celebrating or not, it doesn't matter what your political views may be (given the recent happenings in our country making this a political issue), and no matter you are male or female, allow me to wish you a Happy Valentine's day. And like what Kharu just messaged me, […]

This is Kharunisia taken with […]

Kharunisia in red

Another revisit on Kharunisia's old images. This was taken by the Shah Alam lake in early morning just before sunrise. Lighting wasn't too good which played tricks on my camera's white balance – it came out too cold for my liking.

I processed this image with my usual workflow as described in my ebooks […]
